ATHLEAN-X, Jeff Cavaliere Biography and life

Born and raised in Connecticut (USA), Jeff Cavaliere discovered his passion for fitness at a very early age. He idolized physically smashed pro wrestlers, action stars, and bodybuilders like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

After admiring these muscular celebrities, Jeff started wanting a similar body as he got older. However, he didn’t start lifting weights in the gym until high school. While entering high school, Jeff was introduced to weightlifting during competitive gym classes. She realized that training at the gym was the key to achieving her dream physique. This would help him develop in his hobbies such as baseball and football. As a result, Jeff worked hard to gain lean muscle mass, becoming both bigger and stronger to work out at the highest level.

“After a summer of consistent training, I started to not only see abs, but also get to work on the court more easily.” – Jeff Cavaliere

After graduating from school, Jeff enrolled to study Physioneurobiology at the University of Connecticut. He also completed his master’s degree in Physical Therapy. During this time, Jeff became a huge fan of The New York Mets. He watched every match as an avid supporter. Therefore, her dream was to work as a physiotherapist in the sector after graduation. About 5 years after he started studying at the University of Connecticut, Jeff graduated with both a BS in Physineurobiology and a Masters in Physical Therapy. Having earned the necessary qualifications, Jeff wasted no time; He opened a private practice in his hometown. However, he never took his eyes off of his goal of gaining a job in the baseball industry.

During his time working independently as a physical therapist, Jeff was able to work with elite athletes such as Mark Johnson (New York Mets athlete). After impressing the baseball star with his work, Mark reported to Jeff that there was an opening at the club after the head physical therapist transferred to another baseball club.

With Mark Johnson’s high recommendation, Jeff successfully earned the chief PT position at his dream club, the New York Mets, and realized his passion for working in the baseball industry at the age of 31 in 2006.

“I actually made it to the big leagues within 2 months of my private practice in CT/NY.

This was a dream come true for me and an opportunity I will love and remember fondly forever. It changed my life.” – Jeff Cavaliere

After 3 years as head physical therapist and assistant strength coach with the New York Mets, Jeff made a big decision. The hectic travels that came with his job had bored him, and after traveling around 14 cities in just 1 day, he began to reconsider his position.

Jeff was tired of living with his suitcase, and his new marriage had given him a desire to spend more time at home. As a result, in 2009, at the age of 34, Jeff resigned from the baseball club.
