First of all, I want to say hello to all of you. By increasing the protein values of high carbohydrate sources such as bread, you can obtain alternative products that keep you full for longer. We have come to you with such a cornbread recipe. We also increased the fiber content by using leeks. The taste is really good to be underestimated, I recommend you all to try it. Let’s move on to our recipe slowly.
Ingredients
2 cups cornmeal
1 bowl of yogurt
2 eggs
300gr leek
1/2 teaspoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
Salt
For Curd
1 liter milk
2 tablespoons of vinegar
Method
First, we wash the leeks well. After washing, we chop our leeks into small pieces. After chopping, we put it in a bowl and add salt and rub it well. The reason we do this is to take the bitterness of the leek. Then we wash it again and filter it. We take our leeks aside and pour 1 liter of milk into the pot to make curd cheese. When our milk approaches the boiling point, we cut it with vinegar and strain it immediately. Thus, our curd cheese is prepared. We combine our curd cheese, leek and all the remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix well. We lubricate the container in which we will pour our mortar and cover it with cornmeal. We pour our mortar into the container and spread it well and bake it in the oven at 180 degrees until it is well browned. The container we made was about 15 slices in total, and an average of 120 calories. You can turn it into a balanced meal by consuming a salad with it. Bon Appetit.
