Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Yarishna Ayala began training after worrying about what she would accomplish in life. Feeling the need to exercise, it didn’t take long for Yarishna to enter the gym and hire a personal trainer. Thanks to meticulous training, Yarishna made serious progress and her coach encouraged her to compete in shows. She aimed to be a professional Bikini Athlete, she. In 2013, Yarishna finally decided to enter her first competition, the 2013 Unique Fitness Classic. Impressively, she managed to return home with a trophy, gaining valuable experience that helped her career as a Bikini Athlete. But it was just getting started.
Over the next few months, Yarishna entered 6 more competitions and won 3 more in the process. But trophies weren’t the only things he took home. He won the Yarishna Pro Card at the 2013 NPC Junior National Championships, his 7th show. At the age of 22, she realized her passion for becoming a professional Bikini Athlete. Yarishna’s first professional appearance was at the 2013 IFBB PBW Tampa Pro. Although She didn’t win, she finished 8th in a fiercely contested show as Courtney King battled for first place. His last competition in 2013 was the IFBB Valenti Gold Cup Pro, where he took 7th place.
Over the next two years, Yarishna competed in 10 more shows, gaining more experience and exposure with each appearance. It didn’t take long for the Queen of Puerto Rico to be noticed on social media and gain millions of followers. By 2016, at the age of 25, Yarishna had become a fitness icon and Instagram phenomenon.
