Lauren Drain Biography and life
Lauren Drain was born in 1985, grew up in the Hillsborough Country township center in Tampa and has always been an avid athlete. He was a baseball team and softball player during his high school years, but never considered becoming a Bikini Athlete. He lived an ordinary life for the first part of his childhood, but when he was 5 years old, his father left home to study at the University of Kansas. Little did he know about the events that would unfold as a result. Lauren’s father visited Westboro Baptist Church while filming a documentary aimed at exposing the cult. But when he got home, he wasn’t the same man. Lauren’s father’s time with the cult had made him one of them. In 2000, Lauren moved to the heart of midwestern Kansas with the rest of her family. He was taken to Westboro Baptist Church at the age of 15 and spent the next 7 years living under their strict rules. Realizing that the cult’s views did not align with the Bible, Lauren became unhappy with her life.
At the age of 20, he began questioning his parents and other members about the revelation. However, the members did not take his revolt lightly. In 2008, at the age of 22, he was eventually expelled from the Westboro Baptist Church for refusing to abide by all of its rules. His parents rejected him, and both parents refused to talk to him. Lauren had reached a very dark point in her life and things were only going to get worse. Lauren had to leave her family behind right after she was officially sacked. He was told to pack his suitcase and given a few hours to go. Later, his father took him to a motel and left him there. He was told not to contact his family or try to return home. After being fired, Lauren decided to move to Connecticut and trained to be a nurse. She spent the next 6 years as a full-time nurse, working day and night to survive. It was here that Lauren slowly began to accept her new life and began to regret all her actions while being part of the Westboro Baptist Church.
In 2012-2013 Lauren began to nurture her thrill-seeking side by entering adventure races such as Tough Mudder and Spartan Races. However, he was unhappy with his physique. Determined to shape a body she can be proud of, she started watching fitness videos and learning how to get in shape. Lauren’s first steps into the industry started with Cross-fit. He started racing locally. He learned all the Olympic lifts and developed excellent endurance in the process. He began to understand what his body was capable of and was excited to see where the sport could take him. After all the misery she faced, Lauren had finally found something to make her happy. Although Lauren managed to build her stamina through crossfit, she was still dissatisfied with the way her body looked. After doing more research on the fitness industry, she hired a trainer and decided to enter her first competition as a Bikini Athlete. 2014 WBFF show in Boston. It was a life-changing decision. He knew he only had two weeks to prepare, but it was this determination that would eventually see him succeed. He dropped 13 kilos in 14 days while preparing for the competition. Although he didn’t win, he had gained valuable experience in the fitness world and was eager to take home a trophy. He took his training to the next level and set his sights on more competition. Lauren worked hard every day to reach her goal for the next 8 months. She continued to work as a nurse at night, desperately trying to earn her Pro Card. He participated in 5 competitions during this period and got more insight into how the industry works after each. He finished every competition he entered with a higher rank. This experience was very important to Lauren.
After tasting more competition, Lauren became even more hungry for success. He began to study the competition preparation and realized that he had made some big mistakes. He had overtrained during cultivation, not allowing his body to grow because he wasn’t resting. He also ate less from time to time to lose weight faster. Lauren began to correct her mistakes and significantly improve the physique. In the end, all his hard work paid off. After months of rigorous training and dieting, she had achieved her goal of becoming a professional Bikini Athlete at the age of 29, after winning the first prize Pro Card from the 2014 WBFF Rhode Island championships. But it was just getting started. He never stopped working hard and only 4 months later entered his first competition in the professional division.
